Products - Bread Baked In A Jar

At Maria's Homemade Fare all of our breads are baked withIN the jars, from "SCRATCH". We do NOT add any preservatives. When the bread is completely baked, we pull it from the oven and immediately put the lid and ring on the jar. The heat of the jar and the yeast of the bread seal the jar shut within three minutes, holding in all of the moistness. Because it's sealed in the jar, it can be treated as any other home-canned product and placed on a shelf for months without ever molding or losing the good taste. When ready to be eaten, simply pop the ring and lid off, slide a butter knife around the inner edge of the jar, and the bread will slide right out onto a plate. Or, if you're like some of our other customers, once the lid is removed - eat it straight from the jar with a spoon! Once the bread IS opened, any leftovers WILL need to be refrigerated. All four varieties of bread DO contain walnuts or pecans.
